I am currently packing for camp so that I can fly out again tomorrow morning - even though I’ve only been home one entire day. I’m getting whiplash the way I have to keep packing and unpacking to fly up and down the Western hemisphere.
At least this time I’ll be buying things in American dollars instead of Costa Rican colones, though. The exchange rate was 500 colones to $1, so...

This morning, I woke up at 6 am in a rural area of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I was covered in sweat and had to avoid the wasp nest by the front door when I went out to meet up with my friends. The humidity was suffocating, the work was hard, and the food was unbelievably foreign, but the company and the culture made the whole experience worthwhile.
